On February 24th, 2022 I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer…on April 25, 2022, I started chemo treatment…on October 31, 2022, I completed my 18th chemo treatment and I rang that bell LOUD!!!! It’s been a long, challenging year for my family, but one thing that has kept me positive is not losing my hair. I decided early on to try DigniCap because I did not want my 8-year-old daughter to see me going through treatments and losing my hair, I knew that would be so hard for her and me emotionally and physically. Thanks to DigniCap and the help of my husband and sweet nurses who helped me through the process of each treatment, I did not lose any of my hair.

Ovarian cancer is known as the “silent killer” because symptoms are often so subtle that they go unnoticed. By the time symptoms are considered an issue, the cancer has spread and progressed too far to treat effectively. (https://www.cancer.org/cancer/ovarian-cancer.html) Only 20% of ovarian cancer cases are found early enough to treat the disease….20 PERCENT! The fact that God allowed me and my doctors to discover this cancer so early at Stage 1 is not lost on me. I know how blessed I am and I thank God every day. I know things could have gone very differently for me and our family, but God has other plans. I want to thank all of my friends and family who have supported me and my family this year…you know who you are and you are loved and appreciated so much. THANK YOU!
