Hi! My name is Kelly K. and I was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer. As devastating as the news of the cancer was, I was more devastated the thought of losing my hair. I received a phone call from a colleague that she found DigniCap and saved her hair in Pittsburgh at Magee’s Women’s Hospital. I took action, set it up with the nurses, and prayed hard that this would keep my hair.
I have 2 young children and I knew this would be harder on them if I had complete hair loss. In my mind that was not going to happen. I think of my hair as my crown, and you are not supposed to lose it and I was not going to let this cancer take my hair from me. I knew there was something more than just capping that was going to save my hair and that was hair products.
DigniCap and the products along with the cool capping treatments by Daniel Fields saved 97% of my hair! My oncologist would comment on the results and was very happy as much as I was. By saving my hair I was able to go to work as a Health & Physical Education teacher and do my job without my students knowing what I was going through. I was able to look at myself in the mirror and not look sick, that was the best part of saving my hair. Our mental health state is so important and DigniCap helped me every step of this journey.
To save my hair I used cold water and only washed my hair 1 time a week with Daniel Fields products. I tell everyone about DigniCap and how much I loved it during the hardest time of my life. My advice to anyone who is going to go through this is to use DigniCap – you will not be disappointed! Instagram @saving_crown if you want to chat!
